PLEASE READ BEFORE PURCHASE

All of my pieces are hand made and hand finished in my East Sussex studio. Everything is made-to-order so that i don't sit on stock, there by minimising waste and carbon footprint. Once an order is placed I begin the process of creating your item especially for you. Due to this handmade nature please expect there to be slight variations from the pictures shown in the product galleries, i do not shy away from makers marks or gentle freeform shapes often characteristic of handmade jewellery, as they carry part of the unique story of the piece.

Actual colours may vary. This is due to the fact that every computer monitor, laptop, tablet and phone screen has a different capability to display colours and that everyone sees these colours differently. I try to edit my photos to show all of our items as life-like as possible, but please understand the actual colour may vary slightly from your monitor.

By purchasing an item from me I assume you have carefully checked the measurements of each item against a ruler so that you are fully aware of the dimensions of your piece. 

ROSE CUT STONES

Rose cut stones are known for their unique brightness and fire, however they are not like ordinary round cuts that sparkle most when viewed from above. The beauty of a rose cut is that they sparkle at an angle as the light refracts through the facets. Rose cuts are known as the 'dancing stone' because of the way that they twinkle on a ring as the hand moves. When viewed directly from above the facets blend in with the skin tone below, but tilt them ever so slightly and they burst into flame. See the photos below for examples of how a White Rose Cut Topaz sparkles at different angles. By purchasing a piece from me I assume you have examined these photos in detail and are fully aware of the unique beauty of a rose cut stone.

If you don't see your size listed please select the 'custome size - leave a note at checkout' button and write your desired ring size in the text box at checkout. There is no extra charge for this service. 

PRODUCTION TIME

Each piece is handmade to order especially for you, production time is between 3-6 weeks (not including shipping time). Once your order is placed I will contact you to discuss the production timeframe of your specific piece and when you can expect delivery. If you require delivery for a specific date please contact me and I will do my best to accommodate your timeframe. Please note that turnaround times are an approximate guide and are subject to change or delay, especially during busy seasons.

JEWELLERY CARE

Natalia Fine jewellery is made to last but its longevity is only assured by delicate and considered care.

1. Store your jewellery in a clean, dry space.

2. Avoid damaging chemicals.

Hairspray, lotion, and perfume can be damaging to certain types of metals and gems. Precious metals like gold are especially susceptible to discolouration from these everyday products.

3. When in doubt, take it off.

The swimming pool isn’t an ideal place for your fine jewellery. Neither is the gym. Even when preparing a meal, gardening, lifting heavy objects or doing household chores, please take your jewellery off and store it in a safe place in order to protect it. PLEASE TAKE ALL JEWELLERY OFF AT NIGHT WHEN YOU SLEEP.

4. Insure your jewellery.

Accidents happen - In the tragic event something happens to your precious pieces, by insuring your jewellery you have peace of mind knowing your investment is protected.

5. Cleaning your jewellery.

Clear precious stones are magnets for dirt and gunk, to avoid the back of your rings and stones from getting unnecessarily dirty please make sure you take all rings off when applying creams or lotions or when undertaking tasks such as gardening, painting, cooking, exercising etc. Even with this care it is inevitable that stones will get dirty. Pieces can be cleaned soaking them in warm water with soap for 5 minuets and then gently using a soft bristled tooth brush to clean away the build up of dirt. The black Noir Spinel and White Topaz Jewellery can be put in an ultrasonic for cleaning, but the Opal jewellery must never be put in an ultrasonic as it will damage the stone. There are various inexpensive and small ultrasonic machines that can be purchased from Amazon and are suitable for use at home. 

6. Yearly Jewellery Health Check,

I advise that all rings and pendants containing stones are checked yearly to ensure that the prongs are secure, over time and with wear it is possible that prongs can be banged against surfaces or other rings and be nudged out of place. I am happy to give all items purchased through this website a free yearly service, clean and polish if you so desire, customers would only have to cover the cost of return postage. Alternatively if this is not practical due to the fact that you live in a another country, I advise taking all pieces in to a jeweller you know and trust for them to check the prong placement and adjust if necessary, that way you ensure a long and happy life for your jewels. (Natalia Fine Jewels is not responsible for any damage that another jeweller may cause when servicing your jewellery, please make sure you only go to a jeweller that you know and trust the quality of their workmanship).

Due to the high value of our items we only ship via tracked and insured services.

UK and Ireland Postage: £10 Special Delivery

Rest of the World: £50 FEDEX or DHL Express

​Your order will be dispatched in an unbranded external envelope.

UK ORDERS

Orders are dispatched using Royal Mail’s Special Delivery Guaranteed by 1pm service. All UK orders are fully trackable and fully insured. Parcels will need to be signed for in person, so please state a delivery address where someone will be present to receive it. In the event that nobody is available to receive your item, a card will be left providing you with the option to have the item delivered at a later date or to collect your parcel from your local collection Post Office depot. A tracking number will be supplied via email when your order has been dispatched.

WORLDWIDE SHIPPING

For deliveries to outside of the UK we use FEDEX or DHL Express, which is fully trackable and insured.

CUSTOM CHARGES AND IMPORT DUTIES

We are based in the UK. Please take the time to check the custom and import charges of fine jewellery to your country. Any customs charges incurred are the sole responsibility of the customer.

UNPAID CUSTOM CHARGES AND IMPORT DUTIES

Failure to pay custom charges in the time allotted by your country will result in packages being returned to me. In the rare occasion that this happens i am happy to re-ship an item but I am not responsible for the cost of re-shipping. The customer will be invoiced for the cost of re-shipping and once this is payed the item be shipped. If packages are returned to me due to unpaid tax/duty and and the customer does not want me to re-ship, then a restocking fee of 50% of the item value will be deducted from the refund amount. 

RETURNS & EXCHANGES POLICY

RETURNS & EXCHANGES

I operate a handmade to order set up. This means that your piece is handmade with care and attention especially for you. Please take the time to examine all pictures carefully and compare all measurements with a ruler so that you are fully aware of the dimensions and appearance of the item you are purchasing. As a small business every piece is a significant investment in terms of time and materials so I ask that you make sure that your purchase is a considered one. I hope that you will love your Natalia Fine Jewels. If for any reason you are not entirely satisfied with your purchase, I am happy to offer an exchange or credit note within 14 days of you receiving your item.

Purchases exempt from both the refund and exchange policies are:

— Custom orders and bespoke pieces. 

— Customised pieces such as engraved and personalised items.

— Rings made in custom sizes outside of the standard ring sizes that we offer, our standard sizes are US 5, 6, 7, 8 and 9.

— Custom orders for pieces in a precious metal that is not our standard 9ct Yellow gold. 

All sales are final for any items purchased during a sale at a discounted rate and no exchanges or refunds will be made on discounted items.

Refunds do not include shipping costs, refunds processed will be for the item value only. 

CONDITION OF RETURNED ITEMS

All items received including any free/complimentary gifts must be returned together. Jewellery must be in its original condition, include all original packaging, packaged correctly and safely and most importantly unworn. Any evidence of wear upon return will mean a refund cannot be processed. Natalia Fine Jewels does not accept any items loss or damage during return postage.  Any loss or damage caused in returned posting is the responsibility of the customer. A refund can only be processed once an item has been return and I have checked it for wear. Returned items with clear signs of wear will be refunded at a rate of 50% of the item value. Returned items with clear signs of damage are non refundable. 

WORLDWIDE RETURNS

If you are based outside the UK and qualify to return an order, please note that a customs declaration form will be required on shipping. The goods will need to be correctly detailed as ‘RETURNED BRITISH GOODS’ in order to ensure that no additional customs fees are incurred on re-import to the UK. In the instance that an item is incorrectly marked and a customs fee is incurred these charges will be deducted from the refund due. International customs duties and sales taxes are non-refundable for shipments outside the UK. Please return via a trackable, insured service. I am not responsible for the loss of items being returned to me, refunds will only be processed when an item arrives back and has been checked over. 

UK RETURNS

If you qualify for a return, please return your order using a trackable insured service (eg. Royal Mail Special Delivery). Please note this is not a pre-paid service and you will be responsible for shipping costs

REFUNDED PAYMENTS 

If an item has been purchased with free shipping and is then returned for refund, the shipping charge will be deducted from the refund total.

In the interests of fraud prevention, your refund will be issued by the same method by which you paid.

INSURING YOUR JEWELLERY

We highly recommend purchasing jewellery insurance for your fine jewellery; just as you would purchase insurance for other valuable items.
